Pendant 1 heure, Eve nettoie Levan. L'eau boue dans un récipient, seule musique à cet acte au silence monastique. Elle le lave avec un simple essuie qu'elle essore dans le récipient avant de l'appliquer sur la peau.
On pourrait y voir une référence à la madone lavant son fils, ou encore à l'infirmière soignant son patient. D'autres mémoires collectives du soin et du nettoyage viennent se fondre dans ce rite rempli d'amour.

For 1 hour, Eve washes Levan. Water boils in a container, the only music in this act of monastic silence. She washes him with a simple towel, wringing it before applying it to the skin.
This could be a reference to the Madonna washing her son, or the nurse caring for her patient. Other collective memories of care and cleansing merge in this loving rite.
